Mom & Dad Visit!

This past weekend my Mom (BAC) & Dad (GMC) came to visit BS and I in Houston! We hadn't seen them since we left...5 months! It was soooo good to see them and we had a blast! We hit up
Tiny Boxwoods for breakfast and then took a stroll through the nursery which BAC LOVED! Drove around Houston, relaxed by the pool at the Four Seasons, got some great Mexican food at El Tiempo and of course showed them the best BBQ in Texas, Pizzitolas. Although the trip was too short, it was great to finally be reunited with Mom & Dad! Below are a few pictures from our great weekend...Mom took a ton so I'll upload more once she sends them to me!

This past Saturday, our friends LG & MG invited us to charity event supporting the TIRR Foundation.

Date Night at Home!

I love date nights at home. Last Friday I put BS up to the challenge...I suggested we have date night at home but the catch was that he would have to cook! BS will cook a meal maybe every 5 months, but when he does, he is a force to be reckoned with! On the menu...Blackened Cajun Tuna Cobb salads. Yum! This meal was so delish, I'm a little jealous I didn't come up with it! So if you're looking for a dinner to impress, this is your dish! Here's what he did:

Sear Tuna in a really hot pan (4 minutes on each side for rare steaks)

Let Tuna rest and serve at room temperature
