Juciest Burgers

Sunday night BS and I decided to make burgers & fries for dinner. We did try a different technique this time around. Usually we cook our burgers in a cast iron skillet  (sear on both sides) and then pop it in the oven to finish cooking. This time we decided to use our cast iron stove top griddle. The key is to sear the burgers for 3-5 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness.) When the burger is about 2minutes into it's 2nd side of cooking, add your cheese, pour about 1/4 cup of water on the griddle and immediately cover with a stainless steel bowl or pot to create a steaming effect (for about 2-3 minutes.) We tried this for the first time and I have to say the burgers were beyond juicy! I will definitely be using this technique every time we make burgers. (I've seen this method used on several episodes of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and it works!)

I used Worcestershire sauce (3 tablespoons) salt & pepper to flavor the burgers
